Jonathan Yani - Theater Teacher/Program Lead
Jonathan is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Technical Theater, and a Minor in English Literature.
He has been passionate about theater (especially the tech aspects) from a young age. At this point he's been working with talented students for over a decade.
In the past he's appeared as Moises Kaufman in "The Laramie Project", and Thurio in "The Two Gentleman Of Verona." He draws on his love of theatre history (dramaturgy) to allow students to explore the many different styles that originated with the Greeks and continues to evolve through the modern age. While he enjoys acting he found himself drawn to the dark side of theater. He's passionate about set design, costuming, and lighting. In his free time (what little there is) he enjoys going to Disneyland, reading, tinkering and chilling with his wife, dog and cats.
Erin McShane - Choir Teacher/Vocal Director
Danielle Galvez - Dance Teacher/Choreographer
Ms. Galvez is the dance teacher at James Logan High School and also teaches yoga. As a Logan alum, she was part of the Advanced Dance program and World Color Guard. She is passionate about helping students—especially beginners—build confidence, express themselves, and grow into courageous artists and performers. She is excited to share her love of dance with the Logan community!
